EY is an international advisory firm with over 2,000 employees in Norway. They help their clients with a range of consulting services, including audit, strategy and law.
Every year, EY hires hundreds of bright minds from various universities and colleges around the world. They want all future colleagues to have the best possible experience leading up to the start. In the past, EY has sent physical gifts and postcards as a reminder around Easter. This has also been an important initiative that has helped build a closer relationship with the students.
Marie Øglænd and Linn Sara Furu work with recruitment at EY and summarize some of the challenges with student gifts:

When Marie and Linn were going to send out the gifts, there were several functions in Glede - the platform that they appreciated:

- Upload file: “We were able to easily upload an Excel file with all the recipients. This was very convenient - especially with many recipients!”

**Easy to use for students**
"We have received incredibly positive feedback from the students. Several have reported that it was easy to use the gift card," they say.
Marie believes Glede could be a useful solution for EY in the future, also in contexts other than recruitment.
“It would be appropriate for us to make use of Glede as an onboarding measure for new employees again, for example as a Christmas greeting. In addition, we will consider Glede for gift mailings internally, for both major and minor occasions.”
