This article describes the assessment process for the first order for a new Glede account.

Why does the first order need to undergo a review?

Glede Card is a digital Mastercard and Glede is therefore subject to certain obligations under the Money Laundering Act. Financial regulations require us to carry out an assessment of all new accounts. We must therefore approve your account the first time you send a Glede and we may need to request additional information about your business if necessary. You must have a company email to use Glede.

How long does this assessment take?

In some cases, the assessment can be done automatically within a few seconds. If the assessment needs to be done manually, it is usually done within one hour from the time you place your first order, but it can take longer in some cases.

Will it take longer if I pay by invoice?

It may take a little longer if you pay by invoice, as we also need to do a credit check on your company.

What if I need to place an order immediately?

If your business is not automatically approved, contact our customer service at support@glede.app to discuss the possibilities of getting it sent right away.

Is this the only time my order will be reviewed?

All activity is monitored, so future orders may also require further assessment. We are committed to keeping our platform secure, which requires that we cannot share details of our security measures.
