With 17 employees and short decision-making channels, Portify is a tight-knit team where everyone rolls up their sleeves. And just as they simplify everyday life for their customers, CEO Anna Tamnhed wanted to find a simple solution for this year's Christmas gifts for the team.
But finding the right gift for 17 different people with 17 different wishes? That's easier said than done.
Anna has tried most things over the years. "The first few years I bought the Christmas presents myself. During Covid I drove around and delivered to everyone personally. It worked, but it wasn't exactly smooth," she says.
They then tested a gift service where people could choose from different options. But the selection got worse over time — and it wasn't always easy to find something that suited everyone.
We have a person who doesn't drink alcohol, for example. Then it can be difficult to find something good in a limited assortment.
Last year, Anna felt it was time to find something better. Then an acquaintance tipped her off to Glede .
It didn't take long for Anna to get started. "It was very easy to understand what to do. The job was done in a few minutes," she says.
