In the past, I've spent hours preparing and sending out gifts, but now it's done in less than 10 minutes.
Sprint Consulting is an Oslo-based consulting company with a vision to help create the businesses of tomorrow. Sprint invests a lot of time and effort in making sure that candidates have a good experience with the recruitment process. Julie Tufte-Johnsen, Recruitment Manager at Sprint, describes some of the measures they take to make sure candidates feel valued.
"We usually follow up with candidates by phone to build a good relationship. On appropriate occasions, we also give gifts, in the form of Morning Delivery, physical gift cards or homemade gift packs."
She finds that candidates are very appreciative of the gifts, but for Sprint, it hasn't been all fun and games. Some of the challenges she has faced with gift giving in the past include:

We are a consulting company, and time is one of the most important things we have. The fact that we can give so easily means that we will definitely be giving nice gifts through Glede in the years to come.
Once the gifts were sent, Julie was excited to see the response from the recipients. After some initial trepidation, she was reassured when the warm feedback came pouring in.
"We received incredibly positive feedback from the gift recipients. The fact that we didn't ask for information in advance meant that it was actually a surprise, so it was very nice both to give and receive. Many also appreciated the fact that they could spend the gift on whatever they wanted."
