Can't find your gift card in Glede app?

Common causes of the problem

1. Wrong phone number entered:
   If you received the gift card by email and entered your phone number yourself, it is possible that you entered the wrong phone number.
2. SMS not received:
   In this case, it may be that the sender provided the wrong phone number when they sent the gift.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Find your gift link

‍

You have received the gift link via:

• E-mail
• SMS
• A QR code or direct link

Open the gift link in your browser and go through the gift experience until you see the amount you have received.

PS: Not sure what your gift link is? The gift link is the URL that leads to your gift, and it might look like this:

• https://glede.no/gift/abc123
• https://send.glede.app/gift/abc123

The unique ID at the end of the link (for example, "abc123") identifies your gift.

Step 2: Use the "Can't find the gift card in the app" button

‍

This button can be found under the "Use Gift Card" tab in the app:

• Scroll to the bottom of the "How to use the gift card" section
• Press the button "Can't find the gift card in the app" .

Step 3: Change to the correct phone number

‍

• Please enter your correct phone number.
• Tap "Update phone number" .

Once this is done, your gift card will be visible in Glede app.

What do you do if you get an error message?

If you see an error message, it's most likely because the gift card has already been activated by someone else. This happens if the sender entered the wrong phone number and someone else activated the gift.
